Delete your CurryMate account

CurryMate (developer: Mussarath Naseema)

You can permanently delete your CurryMate account and all associated data at any time, directly in the app or by request. This page explains how, and what is deleted.

Option 1 — Delete in the app (instant)

1. Open CurryMate and sign in.
2. Go to the Settings screen (the gear icon on the Cook tab).
3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
4. Confirm. Your account and data are removed immediately and you are signed out.

Option 2 — Request by email

If you can't access the app, email support@currymate.in from your registered address (or include your registered phone number) with the subject "Delete my account." We will delete your account and confirm within 30 days.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes:

• Your profile and preferences (name, region, diet, spice level, language)
• Your pantry items and inventory
• Your generated recipes, saved/favourite recipes and feedback
• Your meal plans
• Your device push-notification tokens
• Your authentication identity

What may be retained

We may retain a limited record of subscription/transaction history where required to meet legal, tax, or fraud-prevention obligations, for the minimum period required by law. This data is not used for any other purpose. Subscriptions are billed by the app stores (Apple App Store / Google Play) — cancel auto-renewal in your store account settings; deleting the account does not by itself cancel an active store subscription.
